GPM flow for showerheads with restrictor removed?

Any clue what a rough guess would be for standard shower head flow rate after removing the flow restrictor? Head was rated for 1.8gpm. Feels like I'm getting at least 3x the force and volume now.
Side note: removed the restrictor in my master shower and holy hell what have I been living without for the past 5 years in this house. Nothing better than a deluge of hot water covering you IMO. Would highly recommend this ~3 minute project to improve your life.

California gonna get you for this and your non-compliant gas cans.

All right, now here's the lowdown.
From a certain connection, I've been able to locate some black market shower
heads. They're all made in the former Yugoslavia, and from what I hear the
Serbs are fanatic about their showers.

#1 Worst part of travel is being in a hotel or rental with a flow restrictor. I look forward to taking a real shower when I get home.

the few i have tried this on turned into pressure washers after so i had to put the restrictor back in.
its ok, if you like to feel the sting of high pressure spray jets blasting you, but thats a no go for the womenz

It depends on your water pressure and shower head design but it's typically in the 4-5.5 gpm range. A 5 gallon bucket, a stop watch and a calculator will get you pretty close.

Speakman Icon 2.5gpm shower head. Leave the thing alone and hook it up. Most of the reviews say if you take the restrictor out it becomes uncomfortable.
But yeah- grab a 5 gallon bucket, concentrate the spray on the bucket, count to 60, weigh the bucket, dump the water, weigh the bucket again.
Then think, “this is retarded, that looked about 3/5 full” and tell yourself it’s 3gpm, or wherever you guesstimate.

correct about the Speakman. ours without the flow restrictor was like a fire hose. our shower is supplied by 3/4" line so that helps. had to let the kids have it, though. too painful.

I recently purchased a rain shower head . When I installed it, I took the restriction out. I can only categorize what happens when I turn on the shower as a monsoon!
