If anyone is looking to have a home built, commercial build out completed or a quality renovation/addition done in the greater New Orleans area I'd like to offer our services. I'm a licensed residential and commercial contractor as well. I've been in business 25+ yrs. I sit on boards for the Home Builders Association in New Orleans and have great references. Check us out @ nolabuild.com or give us a call @ 504-339-2480 to set up an appointment or to discuss your project.

#1 this isn't allowed really on this site and might get taken down. Chicken pays his bills from advertising.
#2 further evidence things are really slowing down in the construction industry. Was talking to a fellow who has a few trucks on the road as a handyman operation and he was saying things aren't so great right now. Probably also has to do with time of year too.

I thought that it might be an issue. I just happened to come on this board for the first time and saw some questions about construction so I figured I'd just put it out there. We usually stay pretty busy but that has a lot to do with how established we are. I know things are slowing up because subs are calling looking for work all the time now though. A lot of the Spanish labor force is moving on to other states as well right now. Interest rates, economic uncertainty and continued increases in building costs have slowed things down overall though.
