Had it with our GE dishwasher

GE Café™ Series Stainless Interior Built-In Dishwasher with Hidden Controls
This is our current dishwasher . It has never really worked but I just sucked it up because the wife really handled the dishes. Well it’s been about 3 years and she has had enough. This thing does not dry worth a shite. Usually we have to add an extra day to washing dishes by leaving the door open and letting it air dry.
Looking for a new one but all the reviews basically say heating elements have been removed and they are shite at drying. What’s a good dishwasher that will dry the dishes? Was looking at the Bosch 800 series at Costco with the Crystal Dry technology.

Haha. I laugh bc we have the same one. We moved in about 3 years ago and it has been serviced prob 5-6 times, always under warranty though since it was a brand new home. Feel like they rebuilt the dishwasher with all of the parts they replaced. Been working good for a year or so now though. That’s all I have to contribute. Covid dishwasher

I have a KitchenAid and have the same problem.

I was at my parents house yesterday and they made a comment that they still have their original Kitchen-Aid dishwasher and it still works. 45yrs…. I’m on my third one in 20 yrs, they’re all POS now.
I have a Bosh 500 for a few years now. If’s been mostly good but have had a few issues. Nothing that I couldn’t YT and fix myself so far. It pops open at the end of the cycle to help drying

Bosch, one of the few things I have purchased in the past few years I have been happy with.

I do know that if the Jet Dry dispenser is empty, the heating mode doesn’t activate at the end of cycle.
I also have a GE dishwasher

Got the 100 series. Can't complain at all.
