Blaze Ice maker

Above is the link to my ice maker. Purchased July 2020. bought the 3 year extended protection plan. of course it just expired. plan to call later to see if they will make good on repair, etc.

The past few days, the ice will not "harvest". ice is sticking to the cubed evaporator plate and will not release, then the next cycle just continues to make a bigger ice block. to the point I have just turned it off.

I have cleaned the condensor coils. I have removed all the mineral deposit scale inside the unit. I cleaned the drip tube well. Used my air compressor for cleaning as well and feel it should be working.

I cut power to it for 20 min or so in attempt to reset the circuit board, thought it worked, it ran fine for about 3 sheets of ice, then froze up again. so any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

bought from BBQ guys. anyone recommend someone in BR area that works on blaze ice makers? has to be someone.

I would call Blaze CS. I had an issue with my outdoor undercounter fridge and the customer service was awesome. The girl stayed in constant contact with me and sent me 3 different part shipments for free as we troubleshot it until we figured out what the issue was. The customer service was awesome and way more than I ever expected.

update: BBQ support emailed me (guy named Marlo, lol) and stared a claim with Blaze to get the ball rolling. I have to send photos of the issue and Serial # later.

at least thats a good start.
