I just had my yard light tilled and seeded with Bermuda. How often and what type of watering do ya'll recommend.

Use my tripod and give it a good 30 minutes per area.
Use my hose and dampen twice a day for a week or so.

What do think. I could do an internet search but there is a wealth of information here and area specific

Twice a day every day until germination. Needs .25 to .5 of an inch each day. That's what I did and had grass in 21 days.

It’s not raining everyday where you are?

Well it wasn't until I watered this afternoon. Should be dry until Saturday I am told

I watered 3-4 times a day. I was not hydroseeded though and had no sun protection for the seed in the middle of August.

You want to keep the seeds moist for at least 2-3 weeks (germination). The times can vary based on the soil and sun exposure.

Hmmm... you may be a little late to the party... typically late May, early June is the best time for Bermuda seed. Good luck. Like others have mentioned, water it until it's muddy! Make sure you get some fertilizer on it as well.

Yeah. The late timing is frustrating. The first time they seeded they screwed it up so now they have reseeded. Pretty much whybI need to get watering perfect.

Just sod it. By the time you buy good Bermuda seed and the proper amount of straw, you’re really not saving that much money.
