Getting the too much suds error code. I have run a couple of cycles with just bleach with no luck. Any suggestions on getting this cleared and/or repaired?
Model number 11027082601, top loader.

Maybe this LINK? But I try unplugging it first (reboot) assuming you haven’t tried that already.

I tried leaving it unplugged overnight. I saw that video, it is for a front loader. I guess I should have specified top loader.

Then read this repair thread, top loader model, and particularly last 2 posts in the thread with the nylon gear replacement and watch the video with parts replacement in the last post. LINK. But the take away is the issue is not related to a Suds issue though it throws that code.
I think your model number has those parts. I recall replacing those two nylon parts on a Whirlpool Cabrio for an issue and it was easy DYI. I’ve since replaced the washer with a Speed Queen but I got 10 years out before it “died” with a tramission issue.
How old is your unit?

2006, seriously thinking of just replacing with a Speed Queen with agitator

Not sure if you got this resolved or not, but I have almost the same washer (110.27087601). Mine was throwing a Ld code. In my case (I don't know how this was possible), the drain pump sucked up a pair of panties and prevented the pump from spinning. I only mention this since some of what I've read on the Sd code mentions a drain problem can cause excess suds.
I can't locate the video I used at the time, but it was very easy to locate and clear the clog. I initially went about it completely wrong and started from the inside of the machine looking for the clog at the bottom of the basket. While that wasn't pretty, it wasn't the root cause of the issue.
To fix it, unplug the machine and disconnect the hoses. Take off the back panel and on the bottom right there is an L shaped hose. Loosen the clamps on it and check for clothes/debris in the pump.
This is not the video I used nor the process I used, but it is accurate and shows you the likely issues. Like I said previously, I accessed the pump's inlet from the back instead of underneath.

Good luck

nylon gear replacement
I replaced the drain pump and the nylon gear, which was worn down. I am not sure if both or one of the other was causing the problem but washer is back running.

Good - hope you can some more years out of the ole gal - 16 years old, you’ve definitely got your $ out of that unit.
