Anyone have quality and reliable landscape design recommendations for NOLA area? I should have done this early January before places get busy.

Cost isn’t much an issue. I just want it done right and look like it could be in a Home and Garden magazine when completed.

My main need is for landscape design and build as a backdrop behind pool. Also need to extend a paver walkway on side of the house and plant some hedges. And I’m afraid likely possible resodding of the rest of the back yard with St Augustine. It’s looking awful and overtaken.

I got recommendations for Big Easy Landscaping but their phone numbers redirect to TruGreen and I know I’ve read awful things about TruGreen on here.

TIA

Try LGD Nola. Only got a quote from them but have heard some friends use them with good results.

I used Beverly Katz for design. Very thoughtful and professional. We discussed my vision and she eventually provided a detailed site plan with specific plants. Came out great. She can manage the entire project from there - I did much of the landscaping myself with the design in hand.

Not the cheapest, but Mullin does great work. Plant Gallery does a bunch of commercial stuff and I never hear complaints.

Go with Katz. Mullin is not too adventurous with design. For install, I’d go with clean cut landscape.
