I was walking through both Lowe’s and Home Depot recently and glanced at the pricing of fertilizer and that Scott’s was $88 a bag. I had to do a double take. Glad I wasn’t needing fertilizer. I like that Lesco brand. Seems to do me a good job especially with that 2% iron added in there. It was around $50 for 15-0-15.

Yes you can apply fertilizer now and it's a bit late for a pre-emergent.
