Possums gave us the best price two different times and we really liked them. Efficient, careful, etc. We tried to get them a third time but they were just too busy. Sorry that I don’t recall the prices, only that it was more reasonable than the others.

I got a 3.5 foot diameter, 40 foot tall tree cut down and hauled off for $1500 back in September. I took care of the stump, but the guy said it would cost another $400. I went with a guy out of Evangeline.

Can they be dropped or do they have to be topped?

I think I've priced/ used near all the tree companies in Lafayette.

If you have room and are not concerned with any structures/ don't want much equipment in - the best priced "tree company" in Lafayette is Mr. David Levy at Heaven on Earth 337.962.7367. Low key company, no advertisement but great service if you can handle the BSing he likes to do!

More technical jobs in no particular order:
-Chris Tree Service out of Sunset
-Scotts Tree Service
-Tree Guardian (super efficient, but going to pay)
-Possoms (Going to wait on a waiting list)

We used Possums a few years back. I would use them again. Do not have access to the price right now.

Depends on if they're close to a house or anything nobody wants damaged. if they're in the open and there is a direction we can lay it down without fear of harming any structure or property then yes we can cut it with no topping needed. We only top trees and bring them down a little at a time from the top when a house or something could possibly get damaged from the tree falling. give me a call at 225-247-9001. I'm with Coyote Specialty Services. Text if I don't answer. We will come see what you need done and give you a free quote. we are licensed and insured arborist with many years of professional experience.
