In SE Louisiana, cost per sq foot including slab?

Square tube kit, or welded red iron? BIG difference.

you can believe that the slab will cost the same as the building.
give nucor building systems a call in terrell, tx. they'll hook you up.

Prices are drastically up from a few years ago. It's materials, not necessarily labor (erecting the building).

Anyone have recommendations in Thibodaux area?

I got a quote back in February for a 30x70 building...17,000. Same quote today is 27,000. This is building only, not the slab.

Steel prices are sky high right now.
Quote a few months ago for a 200x120' building, materials only, $323k. Adding insulation brings it to a nice round $400k.

I'm building a 100x150 with 20ft eves and price is right around $13/ft for steel, haven't nailed the concrete price but I expect to be in the mid 20's for the total between the 2. I was down there last week, I'd say anyone in metal building biz is going to be slammed for a while, lots of major damage to commercial buildings.
Are you looking for a builder or just a supplier for the metal?

The whole deal, know I will have to wait a year, may be able to do concrete sooner

Thibodaux- I got one from custom corrugated in Gray, in 2019. Probably not comparable now. But this is my summary. 35’x60’ red iron with 3-20’sections, 2-12’x12’ door openings (ends) and 1-12’x10’ door opening (side) and one walk in door was $19,000. The three wind rated roll up doors came out to near $5000 on top of that, self-installed. Slab was $14,500 for 4” thick 3500psi, 24”D perimeter footing and 2-24”D interior footings. That included all form material, steel and labor, concrete, pump truck, pour and finish. Building erection was $8000. I did all electrical myself including 100amp service from my house, and everything interior in EMT conduit. Also plumbed in Copper myself (didn’t want to risk pex with rodents) a full bath, separate urinal, utility sink and camper hookups. I’m probably $50k or so into it.
Edit: building includes 1/8” thick reflective foam roll insulation on walls and ceiling. Also, that’s fully custom engineered to what I wanted. Not a pre-designed kit. Certified for 144mph wind.
