Need help with Bermuda grass seed

I have 5.5 acre piece of property that is about to get dirt work and a house pad put on it in the next two weeks. I want to go ahead and seed the property with Bermuda everywhere except around the house where they will be working. I’m going to need enough seed for about 3-3.5 acres after they dig the pond and set the house pad. I figured about 300-350lbs of hulled seeds. Where is the best place to get a good quality seed without breaking the bank. What do y’all recommend? TIA

I’ve gotten good seed at seedland and Hancock seed.

I ordered mine from Hancock Seed and didn’t have any issues. If you need that much they also do bulk orders so may give them a call.
What type of Bermuda are planting?

I've also gotten seed from Hancock and was very happy with it.
I would say to look into hyrdoseeding that big of an area since that will be a PITA to try and keep that big of an area watered and not washing away but it'll cost you quite a bit more.

I called about it and it’s about 8 grand compared to 1500 for seeds.

Where are you located? If there is a SiteOne near you they can get good quality seed. Use about 5-7lb per 1000sqft. Also, put some high calcium lime down. Also, to help spread the seed mix it with 1to1 seed to fine sand.
