Anyone have this or similar? I have a full size grill and smoker, but looking for something smaller/countertop size to use on the back patio.
Looking for reviews on this or recs for something similar. TIA.

We have one and really like it a lot. I'm starting to cook on it more and more as I learn how to cook on it. It's definitely different combining electric heat plus wood pellets for smoking. It's super portable and easy to clean. It takes a few times cooking with it to get used to it and also to experiment with different pellets. If you buy one, there are a lot of good YouTube channels, such as the "Dad Got This" channel. So far I like Bear Mountain pellets. The 20 lb bags are a lifetime supply though and way too much for this grill. We are trying the Gourmet Blend and Hickory blend right now. Would like to try Mesquite as well. We found them at Walmart and Tractor Supply. You can also try a variety pack like this Kona 8lb Wood Pellet Variety Pack For Ninja Grills. If you do buy a Ninja Woodfire Grill, here are some other accessories we bought (on Amazon)to go with it:

1. Cuisinart folding table. This is a really nice portable table for this grill.

2. 12/3 Gauge Oil Resistant SJTOW Extension Cord. You need 12 gauge grounded and the manufacturer recommends SJTOW oil resistant extension cords which are hard to find.

3. Grilltex 36" x 63" Gray Grill Mat. Perfect size mat for the Cuisinart table and Ninja grill that stays on our deck.

4. ThermoPro TP19W Waterproof Digital Meat Thermometer. This is an inexpensive digital meat thermometer.

This grill seems to cook too fast on high. I like to grill on "Low" so the smoker has more time.

We bought our Ninja Woodfire Grill at Costco and it came with the grill top and a separate flat top. We use both depending on what I am cooking. They are so easy to clean. Nothing sticks to these grill tops.

The grill tops are really small, but plenty big for the wife and I. Haven't used the Air Fryer or Dehydrator modes yet but look forward to using those nodes, plus the Smoker mode more.

What an excellent review.
I understand this should be viewed as a smaller more versatile version of the things it replicates, not a better version. But hopefully close.

Thank you for the time and effort.

Yes, a few weeks ago at Costco. Some other notes. You can cook for 4 people at the most with this grill. We wanted to try it because we live on a heavily wooded lot and didn't want to leave a grill outside as there are too many wild animals like Raccoons, etc that would be attracted to an outdoor grill left out all the time. Plus we didn't want to deal with a lot of ashes from charcoal or wood pellet grills nor did we want to deal with propane, although we also do have another larger propane grill that we use when having friends or family over.

Definitely watch some of the numerous YouTube videos for this grill to make sure it is something you would want. I haul our table and grill from inside our garage to our deck and back. Set up and takedown time, plus completely cleaning the grill each time I use it takes about 30 minutes. 10 minutes to set up, then we eat whatever I cooked, and then about 20 minutes for cleanup and putting back in the garage.

If you have a covered deck you could leave it outside and just clean it and put the cover on it saving time.

Also a couple of other things we use with this grill are siicone covered tongs and spatulas so as to not damage the stick free grill top and flat top. Depending on where you buy a Ninja grill it might not come with the flat top grill included. I would recommend anyone get both the grill top and flat top. Costco has the version with both the grill and flat top. You're going to want the grill top for searing some meats and you'll want the flat top for cooking eggs, vegetables and other foods.

The countdown timer on the grill is really nice. I still haven't mastered exact timing how long to cook certain meats like steaks for exact doneness. You can get recipe books for Ninja grills that tell you exactly how long it takes and the grill timer can be set to tell you when to flip your steaks, hamburgers, etc. I'm still just setting the grill on longer times than needed and I check my steaks temperature with a digital meat thermometer as I flip them over so I know when to take them off the grill.

Final thoughts on the Ninja Woodfire grill are that it is very versatile and portable and easy to use and clean. But I do think that it cannot cook meats quite as tasty as on a charcoal or wood pellet grill or smoker. But you can add smoke flavor with this grill and it cooks consistently and evenly. You can also air fry foods and dehydrate foods, making this grill really versatile.

The cooktop is about the size of a legal size piece of paper (just more square), so it is really small, but I have cooked 4 steaks on it, and also 6 large hamburgers on it with no problem at all. The small size will likely make a lot of people not like it, but it makes the grill really portable. I think it weighs like 32 lbs. With the large side handles it is easy to tote around.

They also make a version of the Ninja Woodfire grill that comes with two built in meat thermometer ports and probes, although if you get this model, be aware that none of the Ninja cookbooks available will work for this model as the heating settings are different for this model vs the standard Ninja Woodfire grill and pretty much all of the Ninja Cookbooks and YouTube Ninja Grill video recipes are for the standard Ninja Woodfire grills.

Those Ninja Woodfire grill recipe books can transform you from a normal everyday griller into a master chef grill master based on a lot of feedback on this grill although I am not at that point there myself.
