One day shower replacement cost?

Has buying be replaced their tub with one of these shower replacements? Looking to figure out a ballpark price for one in Metairie.

As in one of the companies that just comes in and puts the premade shower in your bathroom?

Neighbor spent $7,000. Ripped out cast iron tub, fixtures and walls. Replaced with a shower tray that has a approx 3” lip. Looks very nice and much easier to step into.

. Expect to spend double that if using one of the bigger companies. Bathfitter, ReBath, MaxHome, Bath Planet, EZ Bath, etc will all be around 15k on average to replace a wet area(shower or tub).

I replaced a cultured marble tub and alcove and a cultured marble vanity top for about $4,500 last year. Including installation of all fixtures. I provided tub and sink fixtures. Took one day to complete, I was responsible for all painting and flooring.
