Does anyone have any recommendations? Only thing I really care about is that it is around 36" tall.

I recommend a minimum of 4 legs and some sort of table top. After that the world is your oyster

a skilsaw, deck screws and some Home Depot lumber and you are on your way

Sounds kinda gay but probably you would go with whatever matches your cooking area.
My area is rustic with a big old charcoal grill and offset smoker sitting on crushed granite, so I would weld up a steel table and paint it bbq black if I thought I needed one.

I just use a couple saw horses with a piece of plywood on top of it to form a base and bring down my cutting board and utensils and seasonings as needed.

I once had my pit on the back porch of the 2nd floor where the main living area is but it really gets the porch ceiling pretty smoked up over time and it's so gradual it's not noticed until I clean things up and prep to paint.

Now the pit is downstairs on the patio and I'll roll it out of the shed when needed and put away when not in use.

Just Google stainless rolling prep table. Plenty of options.

I see many reviews on them saying they rust and are flimsy Chinese crap. Just wanted to see if someone knows of a good brand.

IDK how crafty you are but I poured a cement table top and built a big green egg base for it,,,,yeah it’s heavy but it’s badass

If you live close to Baton Rouge you could check out what "BBQ Guys" has to offer. Here is an example Food Prep Table

They offer quality equipment, but it is pricey.

Are they located in Baton Rogue? I’ve looked at them before for a few things but didn’t want to pay shipping.

Make sure you have some shade if you get stainless. The sun hits that top and will blind a man

Get a pecos table if you are an OT Baller

Can't believe anyone would pay $700 for a plastic table.
