Looking for some speakers to mount on the patio …. Anyone have any wireless Bluetooth speakers that they recommend? Or should I just wire some good speakers ?

Sonos systems are great.

Expensive but worth it.

I bought a $90 sound bar on Amazon with Bluetooth. Going on 2 years of being outside and still has great sound and has stood the test of Louisiana humidity.

These Pyle Bluetooth speakers work great, and I connected them to the outdoor TV.

Just bite the bullet and get sonos. Super easy to work with, can control all speakers from your phone

I have the indoor ones that have been on my patio for 2 years now with no issues

I've got a set of Pyle speakers mounted to my patio. One is active, and the other is passive, and they're connected by speaker wire. It's got one 3.5mm aux jack and one Bluetooth input. I've got my phone connected on Bluetooth and the TV connected using a really long aux cord haha, as the speakers are on the opposite side of my patio from the TV. Can control the volume using the TV remote if watching TV, or from my phone if playing music. They're not very loud, but I've got a tiny yard and don't want to disturb the neighbors too much. Works great for me.

Depends on your situation. I have a pair of these wired to a Bluetooth amp. They sound fantastic. Much more full and deep than the other speakers I’ve had.

They are big. They are loud. They are fantastic, but probably too much for many peoples neighborhoods

How big are you looking for? JBL has a handful of various sizes that are linkable.

If you go this route, Sam's has some Klipsch on sale right now. Very good speakers.

Was out walking my dogs late afternoon yesterday and I heard this music that was crystal clear. The owner of the house just happened to be walking out and I asked her what set up she had so she took me to her backyard and showed me.

All Sonos and the sound was freaking incredible.

Well this all comes down to where you have electricity on your patio. Sonos speakers sound great but need to be plugged in. If you have an old home receiver laying around and only one plugin on your patio, you can repurpose it and just get a good pair of outdoor speakers to hang (Definitive audio makes a great set). Also, you can get a nice power receiver for about $100 or less on Amazon as well. Just search Amazon for "patio receiver".

the good news is typically you have other uses for power in an upper corner of your patio for lighting or shite like that.

i have power in one corner and fed the power cable to the second speaker under the soffit so its invisible except where it comes out behind it.

if you are REALLY smart, get a sonos 5 or stereo pair of 1s with voice-activation built in. thats really the only way to go..change music/volume using only your voice. nice to be chillling in the pool and decide to change the music without getting out or looking for a phone.

you don't realize how much better your life is until you can control the music overhead without always relying on some random device or remote.

IMO stereo-paired 1s > playbar5 but its close.

if you add a sub to that stereo pair it gets really interesting but thats alot of cash to spend on a sub you leave outdoors. it would work well in an enclosed porch though and i can tell you from experience i had a gen1 sub outdoors for 7 years and aside from getting dirty as frick, it worked just as well the day we moved as it did the day i set it up.

Been having a sub on my patio for two years now with no issues as well. I use coversandall.com though for any electronics I leave outside that is not specifically designed to be outside. My TV has been outside for about 5 years with no issues. But I keep it covered when not in use as well. Just all depends how much you like good quality sound and how much you are willing to spend. And yes you always need to clean shite on a patio.
