6' dog ear fence with 4x4 posts. Any specific stain/protectant recommendations?

Our fence has Wood Defender semi transparent stain. It has a 3 year guarantee on the can. It lasted about 4.5-5 years.
ETA: this is on cedar. You may want something more durable / long lasting than that.
ETA again as I'm in the process of having my fence replaced from Ida and will be resealing as well... Wood Defender now has a 2 year guarantee.
In my research Wood Defender and Ready Seal are comparable, and seem to be the easiest to apply for DIY. Food for thought.

Let it age for 6 months before you treat it with anything. After that, I used Cabot semi-solid stain.
