Any one know of someone who can evaluate my pond for restocking with fish?

If you want free advice, you can start by contacting Carol Franze who is an LSU AgCenter extension agent for St Tammy parish with an aquatic background Carol Franze. If needed, she’ll call in or recommend one of the other LSU AgCenter fishery extension agents or specialists with a stronger background in recreational pond management.
If you want to hire a private consultant I’d recommend Mark McElroy with Aquatic Solutions LINK or Ken Rust with Louisiana Pond Management LINK - both are friends, former colleagues/student, who are professional fisheries biologists that specialize in recreational pond management and aquatic weed control. Both are based in the Baton Rouge area.
Read this recreational pond management manual if you are not familiar with it Managing Mississippi Ponds and Small Lakes - it’s a little more current than the LSU AgCenter Center’s version, but they both contain the same basic info
Management of Recreational and Farm Ponds in Louisiana

I use Southeaster Pond Management out of Canton, Mississippi. Check out their website….they can do anything that is necessary.
