Does anyone have Firerock or Peacock Pavers around their pool? I’m looking for some feedback. They are formed concrete pavers meant to look like stone but significantly less expensive. There isn’t much info or reviews out there.

Is the pic below what you're referring to as Peacock Pavers? If so, are you considering doing it yourself or the pool builder? And are they being laid all the way to the coping like the picture shows or is this additional to the pool deck?
With any kind of paverstone, the quality is determined with how the base is prepared. The gap between the stones allows dust and dirt to collect in the joints and that dirt will find its way to the pool. If you go with grass filling he joints, it's another maintenance item to cut. I highly suggest staying away from any kind of aggregate or decomposed granite filler between the stones because they're like stepping on legos on bare feet. I wish I had a 10' barrier between my grass and pool all the way around it. It's impossible to keep grass clippings out when it's windy. They look nice, but just be aware of the maintenance it adds to an item that is already a maintenance item.

truer words have never been spoken.
also, plan ahead for nearby flower beds / landscaping.
I have a chocolate lab that likes to dig. On more than one occasion I came home to dirt and mulch all on my deck and into the pool.
I have since filled the flowerbeds with limestone and have potted plants and decorative stones atop.

I have firerock around my pool. Great product, but you will need to give it a thorough cleaning (scrubbing) once a year.

Have fire rock, it’s great, needs to be pressure washed once a year but otherwise great

My pool is against my yard on 2 sides. Grass goes in and by time I’m finished cutting it’s in the baskets and I scoop it out. Not a big deal. I wanted to keep as much yard as I could so my kids can play

Yes. Builder.
They will be laid on a concrete slab with no grass in between

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve read that pressure washing isn’t recommended but I was hoping it’s possible. How many years have you been pressure washing and have you noticed any wear or color loss?

Do you use the recommended cleaner from firerock or something else? How long have you had the pool?

Had it for 5 years and have moved but it looked brand new when I left
