Moving into a new house and want to redo the flooring in the kitchen. We always wanted a brick floor, but I dont think that demolishing the current tile and coming back with real brick is going to be a feasible option for us. Does anyone have real experience or pictures of a porcelain brick tile, such as the Chicago from Mediterranea? I know it wont be the same as the real thing, but we don't want to have buyers remose down the road either.

Check out thin brick veneer. We laid it on top of concrete and it looks incredible.

Here’s a house we’re remodeling that we just put a brick style tile down. Turned out nice…

I've used Brick Pavers before. Check out Magnolia Brick Pavers Inc
Paving contractor in Prairieville, Louisiana.
They make the pavers in Louisiana. The guy that owns it, use to live across the street from me.
Once they are laid, you put on a sealant, just roll it on with a paint roller.

Location? As for a demo, you can get an electric jackhammer, a wide snow shovel, put it in a wheel barrow. Most tile on homes were very light on the adhesive. If you need more info, let me know.

Just tried to give them a call and the number was disconnected. From the quick initial research I did, it looked like the real brick paver slices were still around 3x the cost per sf of material alone. Located in in St. George.

I don't like the real brick as much. These have more of a mortar base, opposed to a clay base.
If in the BTR area, I have a floor guy, he'll help you. He will allow you to demo. He will take it from there.

Brick-A-Floor is another brick paver company.

Let me know if you need more information.
