Portable Sawmills - anyone have one?

I’ve cut a bunch of trees down on my property and I could cut them for a bunch of projects that I have planned.
An inexpensive portable sawmill would cost almost $3000 and would be pretty easy to recoup money.
Or should I just hire someone with a portable mill to come and saw up my trees?

Do you have a proper way to move the logs to a mill? Usually the portable saw mill guys are reasonable with their rates, especially if you have a bunch of logs they can do in one go OR have a wood type that they need.

Have a tractor to move the logs.

If it were me and I was doing this as a one off I would get an Alaskan mill and a Stihl or copy of a Stihl chainsaw to run in it. The copies are REALLY good now, especially if you aren't using it professionally.
Lots of the "portable" saw mills just aren't that portable. I have seen several types used, and to get a portable that I would want to use it costs like $10k. I wouldn't want to use one of the $3k specials.

If you can get the logs to the mill and onto the mill, then YES!
If I spent more than just random Saturdays at my land, I’d have one.
ETA: need storage real estate, too.
