Pre fab shed recommendations

Need to put a storage shed on a property that I bought in Mississippi. Have been looking at the pre-fab buildings from HD or Lowes. Also considering building it myself. Any of the pre-fab building better than others?
Most of the buildings that I have looked at are between 5-7K. Any idea on how much the material would cost to build a small 120-160 sf shed?

I can't answer the question about the costs to build yourself, but I bought a Tuff Shed from HD about 3 years ago. During Ida it lost 3 shingles, and shifted less than 1/4" when a neighbors tree bounced off the roof (fence slowed it down a little). No dents in the wood from the tree, nothing looks lose, and no water intrusion.

I built two buildings from iCreatables.com. One is a fully finished office and one is a shed for my mower. Both are in the "modern" style. I guarantee they are better built than the Tough Sheds just from a material standpoint. I also cared since it is in my yard and I matched Hardie siding and color to my house.
Remote property I'd care less for sure.
Assorted Shed Plans - great details and materials lists.

Got mine in 2020. It's been great. I dropped a huge magnolia limb on top of it when I was being an idiot and it held up fine.

Ordered a 12x20 shed from a local Graceland dealer in January. So far so good. It was significantly cheaper than tuff shed and the service and warranties are solid.

+1 on the Graceland building. I bought a 10x16 lofted barn 10yrs ago. I've painted it twice and the shingles have made it through many storms without any coming off. Find a dealer on their website. Tons of different buildings and sizes on their website with many add-ons to choose from. They originally delivered it, put the skids on blocks, and strapped it down. I had them come back this year to move it to another part of my yard due to my pool construction. Been happy with it.

+1 on Graceland. Paid $5500 delivered for a 10x12 w/ Galvalum roof, radiant barrier, double door and window a few months ago.
Built extremely well.... no press board BS. Treated T1-11 walls & floor joists, hurricane clips. You select stain and roof color, door and window location etc.
Much nicer than Home Depot and Lowes prebuilt options

Had you done this sort of thing before? I’m fairly handy but have never built a structure from nothing, other than a real ugly treehouse. Considering a diy shed as a learning experience

Just furniture building and refinishing. Stuff like that. I'd never framed anything in my life. They sent a great PDF of instructions + Youtube and it wasn't difficult at all. Like Legos for grown-ups. The office was the first build and I had to permit it with Ascension Parish. Passed all my inspections with zero fixes.
I did not do the office foundation and I did not do the drywall. The crew doing the foundation came back to fix my driveway and complimented me on my framing work. Said it was better than his framing crew.
The only negative is I lost a good bit of sleep because you run into problems or unknowns. So my brain would not shut off during those times just trying to do those tasks in my head. It was always easier in reality. At most it involved searching for a few youtube videos to find out how.

+2 for Graceland. I got a 10x16 side lofted barn. Since I ordered it I was able to request no windows and used the cost credit to get a free radiant barrier in the roof. Graceland is also the only builder that does ridge and soffit vents on these small buildings. The delivery guys were efficient and placed it exactly where I wanted it.

Had a small 8x10 tuff shed at my previous home for almost 11 years. Absolutely zero complaints about it.

After browsing the link on a 16x10 shed, I have to pay $30 to get the plans to price out what I need to build the shed?

There’s a free pdf material list at the bottom of each model

Did you source the roll up door from them? Cost?

I bought mine from Metal Depots up by the location formally known as Cortana. It was just before Covid, and I think I paid $350 for it. They're all custom, so you need the opening size, and then you pick your color.

I got it. Curious how these compare to tuff shed price wise. I know you said you think they're definitely built better per the materials

Now days... who knows. I'd be curious how they compare now.
At the time, I was able to get way more building for less money. I mean of course it will be cheaper when you do all the labor for free. Mine are standard studs with OSB sheathing. Then Tyvek wrapped all around. The roofs I used a full coating of Ice & Water and then papered on top of that. The shingles match my house. Then all exterior pieces are either Hardie or PVC moldings. Nothing on the exterior can rot. The office has other features that I was able to pack in. The mower shed is fairly basic.
I also wanted them on slabs. I worked hard on continuous ventilation through both of the roofs. Just things like that with a little building that you can do without breaking the bank.
