Currently have the Opal machine. Have had it for about three yrs. it makes 26lbs/day I believe. This has always been enough ice for the household so I don’t need a large capacity machine. But I do want one for under the counter... I’ve seen several online. But most are north of $3K.
I was hoping to find one for around $2K or possibly slightly more.

I have bought several appliances from AJ Madison and have not had any issues.
Undercounter Ice Makers
I have the Scottsman Brilliance Nugget Ice Maker and have had no issues for the 3 years. As long as you do the maintenance on it, should be fine

I have a ULine. We absolutely love it when it works but its been sitting for a month waiting on a repair for a water leak. Service guy said they’re normally really good machines and ULine has been good about fixing it under warranty but the time without the machine really stinks. I feel like I got a lemon but who knows.

I have the Hoshizaki, 2 years so far with no issues. Only minor inconvenience is the ice will “stick” to the bin and bridge itself, which causes it to run longer than necessary and overfill. This really only happens if we don’t use it for a while and break up the ice.

Sell you mine, GE undercounter. Built house and came with it 2 years ago....I unplugged it after a year after seeing how disgusting they get.
Ones that make new ice everyday means the temps in the ice maker have to increase to allow existing ice to melt....just leads to nasty mold if not cleaned routinely and I got lazy
