Recommendations for 42" kitchen island on wheels - w/ or w/o butcher block?

We've got some space in the kitchen to house an island on wheels to help with storage and to use as a station to cut food. Any recommendations out there?
Also, thoughts on a butcher block island? I've seen some where they're actual butcher block, others a fake butcher block. I've heard mixed reviews and not sure if I should just go with a butcher block or go ahead and get a matching piece of quartzite to go on top and match the countertops.

Made a rolling table for our kitchen. Had a frame welded at Tangi-Industrials in Hammond. The top is made from six quarter granite, same as the counter tops and measures 36" x 54". The legs are 2" square steel with 5" swivel gurney wheels (lockable) bolted at the base. The top steel frame is 2" angle iron measuring 28" x 46" (4" overhang all around). The frame and legs are welded and the top of the granite is 30" from the floor. Frame was sandblasted, primed, and painted. The granite company, who also did my counter tops, simply glued the table top to the frame as he did the counter tops to the wooden cabinets.
All our kitchen granite (74 ft2 total) was installed 28 yrs ago and sealed at that time. It hasn't been sealed since and still looks like new.

Went the butcher block route when installing our island. We don't use it to cut anything on but have loved it for last 2 years

Since you don't cut it I'm assuming you don't need to reapply a sealant every so often?

I have a heavy solid wood butcher block island. Love it. Don’t cut on it though unless I put wax paper over the spot. It’s useful for other stuff when cooking.
