Recommendations for a roofer in the Baton Rouge area

Premier South, quick and work. Did our neighbors and a few friends. No one I know has had a complaint about them. If there was anything to complain about, my neighbor would have found it.

Call Blanco brothers. Oscar is a legit good guy. They hand-nail shingles. They aren't cheap, but they will most likely going to be less expensive than Garcia and Premier South.

My experience with Premiere South last year was very good.

The wait was just 1 week. Shingles and wheeled equipment was staged Sunday the day before work. A crew of 9 did it all in one long day. I've noticed some roofing by smaller crews stretching on for 3 days. A neighbor's lawn got some minor rutting. The rep immediately knocked $300 off the bill to more than cover cost of filling with sand.

Only downside was that none of the crew spoke enough English to communicate with them. I like to ask workers questions. When sales rep dropped by, he had to phone the company to get a translator. But, we are in those times!

Blanco Roofing is not the same company as Blanco Brothers. The owners are related. I think it's the Uncle that has one company and the nephews are his competition. Anyway, I've priced Premier against Blanco Brothers twice and premier was the higher both times by a significant amount.

Tri-21 Roofing and Construction

Garcia messed up install on our new roof, denied it for months, then finally admitted to messing it up, and then sent us a bill for an additional $4k, claiming they previously under billed us. They have been a pain in our arse and their mistake has caused damage to our ceilings. They were also very rude and derogatory towards my mom when they came to look at her roof as well. Would not recommend.
