Can the yard experts in here give me the best way to get rid of them and the best Grub killer. FWIW I have 3 golden retrievers that go outside also.

Armadillos will take care of the grubs for you. Grub X is the best, but it has got very expensive. There are several others out there. Being they have to be watered in your dogs should be OK if you could keep them off overnight. I put it down in the late evening and then water it in where it sits overnight.

Do I want Armadillos tearing up my yard eating the grubs? Will go look at this Grub X right now. Thanks

Arena insecticide. Do you know for sure it’s grubs? 6-8 grubs per sq feet is usually what is needed to cause damage.

Ronk I pulled 2 dead squares of sod I replaced last summer and I raked out 5 white grubs I wasn't even looking that hard. I have had issues with grubs before.

Buy Scott’s Grub-Ex from Lowe’s or Home Depot and put down today. $30 for 5,000 square feet, worth the money if you get it down quick before you have a big problem.

There’s better acting insecticides, but you may have to order online and can’t get it down today.

There are cheaper options (Triazicide by Spectacide), but I’d use this as a preventative and Scott’s when you have them.

That's what I will do I will put the Grub X down tomorrow and water it in. If that doesn't work I will go the Ronk route.

Grub ex is fine but it's mainly a preventative and only works on earlier stages.

Something like arena or merit will provide both preventative and curative if you already have an adult grub issue. Plus they have a longer residual in the soil.
