Soft Close cabinet door

Is it a new install or something that was working before and is messed up now? If ok before, did you check to see if hinge pieces came unlatched from each other? Sometimes they separate.

First check that the 2 pieces of the hinge are still connected. May need to be snapped together again. Other than that, there are adjustment screws on the latch to correct this.

I'd try taking a door off and seeing how the hinges work without the weight of the door.

May just be some junk chinese stuff that has lived its life. Depending on the type, Blum soft close hinges aren't all that expensive. I think around $3 a piece.
