Any tips on getting rid of toads around my house. They're burrowing under my porch and A/C pad. I've had enough of them

Sounds like you have a drainage problem. Get a cat

You could get rid of the toads, but in a few months you'll be right back here asking how to get rid of the above normal amount of bugs that have suddenly showed up.

It would be better to get them a better option within your yard to burrow. What's the landscape like around the patio and pad? Is it wet?

Toads are a positive animal to have. They destroy bugs, especially when June bugs show up.

Yep. I protect the toads that show up around my house for this reason. Wish I had more. Only time I even know they are around, is at night when I walk out on the porch and see one sitting there. I assume they are there getting the bugs attracted to the lights from the house. Lizards are another. The more, the better.

Get a five year old neighborhood kid to chase them down.

Speaking of toads....

I'm missing a strip of rubber gasket on bottom of garage door. We let our cats in garage at night and leave the light on.

I started noticing huge turds where the strip is missing and thought "Oh shite - I have rats in the garage." Set traps with bacon/cheese and no luck.

Finally, I realized the toads were gathering where the light escaped under the door to eat bugs coming to the light.

Talking about relieved when I realized that was toad shite and not rat shite!

I’ve got toads and I just let them be. I don’t really notice them damaging anything. At night when I go sit outside they come sit by me and hang out. If I have the porch light on I get a kick watching them chasing down bugs. I didn’t realize the friendly and harmless looking toad is an apex predator. Those dudes can eat and eat and eat. Mine will disappear some years. I’m guessing a cat or snake gets them. Toads and lizards don’t bother me. They seem like hard working fellows just trying to earn a living too.

Just one... Don't. Why would you want to get rid of them?

Get some toad houses and put them around the porch and A/C pad.

I have a couch on my back patio, and I went to pressure wash my back porch last year. When I removed the couches, there were HUNDREDS of toads living under my couch. So much toad crap under there. And it appears they're back this year already. I'm not really doing anything about it. They're everywhere around my house. I can't even mow without making toad soup. And they get into the pool and die in the skimmer baskets. It's a little annoying but part of life I suppose.
