I live in a community with HOA rules. I live on the pond and we currently can not put in bulkheads. After discussion with the HOA I believe we will be removing this from the covenants and in place will be the ability to put in a bulkhead that has very strict parameters.

I have numerous homeowners that want to put these in. My question is does anyone know a rough cost per linear foot that someone would charge?

And does anyone know any large bulkhead companies that would like an opportunity potentially multiple jobs?

The cost is going to depend on bulkhead contractors in the area (you didn't tell us where you live) plus access for heavy equipment and if the pond can be dredged for backfill or not. Lots of variables, but wooded around me runs around $125 lf

$125 is probably about right. Depends on depth also. I paid around $100 but I think I only needed something like 6’ sheets.

Good responses above. Our neighborhood in Baton Rouge has 2 contractors who normally put them in. Vinyl with 2"x10" cap runs around $90-$100 per lf. That is for 8' vinyl sections buried about 5'.

What is the depth of the water? Vinyl works for shallow water and may very well be enough for your neighborhood. But if it's kind of deep, you need to set some engineering standards (i.e. depth they need to be driven, whalers, piles, etc.) I do like the look of a clean bulkhead. But no bulkhead looks better than neighbors with a failed bulkhead.
