Ain’t none. Trees take up all the nutrients and block the sun. Best bet is to make it a natural area.

Best grass St. Augustine or Zoysia, neither will last more than 12-18 months under a tree, if you are adamant about grass, plan on putting new sod every 18-24 months. Thinning the tree out every year helps as well

St aug is going to require 4-6 hours of sunlight a day. There is a type of zoysia called geo zoysia. It can survive with 2-3 hours of sun light. It will expensive and hard to find though.

Sounds like it's time for a nice round rock garden and plant shade loving plants in the area to break it up.

Consider ground cover plants like Wintercreeper and what you see on LSU's campus.
