Where would you place an American flag?

Want to place a 3’x5’ flag on my house, but need help deciding best place. All I could find online is that it should be placed to the right as you’re walking out the front door.
A, B, or C or somewhere else?

Depending on height and wind, B and C may be in the way of people walking.

C is my pick. I’ve seen situations like A & B where the flag gets hung up on the roof and/or gutter, but I notice you currently don’t have gutters. I’d still go with C.

A
I think it's too much in the way for B & C.

This was my thought process as well.

C, but on the side wall. Flag hangs over the flowerbed

C. It’s going to show up better against the white background.

C and your lawn looks legit

A seems like an after thought and won't be seen, especially if there's a car in the driveway.
B will be in the way of the walkway.
C would be my choice out of those. But could be a issue on a windy day.
Alternate. To the right of your large window would be a good spot too. Wide open, nothing to get in it's way and the flag will always be out of the way.

Placing your flag near the neighbor's lot line at the garage entrance might make it look like an afterthought.

Traditionally flags are hung on the right side (strong side) of a building, or a flag pole is placed in a prominent location on the property. I vote flag pole in the front yard.

Have you considered a flag pole?

My vote is c , just not upside down ..

Who spray painted letters on your house?

I vote C, because it will stand out more and will bring some color to that part of the house.
Ever think about doing a little flower bed around your mailbox? That would look nice.
