Both dirt work and underground pipes/drains, french drains, etc.
Would this be more of a dirt contractor or a landscape company?

I've always read on here that Emile was the best.
It seems that he has now started a larger company.

Try finding a contractor that designs both residential and commercial landscape drains - like at fast food restaurants. Those guys usually know how to build drainage systems that last for decades with minimal upkeep.
Was fortunate to hire a guy 15 years ago who mainly designed landscaping for local restaurants. He knew a lot of tricks to save upkeep - for example, he replaced grass with a bed of river rock in a heavily shaded area that has lots of runoff. He also had a really good sense for were to install the buried landscape drains.

My nephew Brian Aucoin. He has large equipment, but also a dingo, allowing him to get into tight spaces and back yards.
