Looking for recommendations for a good flooring contractor in BR. Looking to put down about 1400sqft. Also, anyone familiar with an average price per ft for install labor?

If you know Spanish, the guys underneath a tree at Home Depot will do it for you. I bought my own materials and had them do the work. Just over $3/sq foot for the labor. They even tore up the old flooring which was half tile/half wood.

I have a good floor guy. When you need it done?

Paul Allen flooring did our renovation and did an excellent job.

Paul’s been around for a while, does great work. He’s a busy guy.
My friend bought an older house out by LSU. They had older pine floors. Instead of a refinishing, I got a thin glue down oak. Ran a sander over the floors, just to scratch them up. Ran the new boards the opposite direction, did a great job. Very inexpensive, but gave a great look.
