To be fair to scone, the plan was to not fire BK after the A&M game. He had solid sources on that specifically.

Then BK forced SW hand at about 10:00 am Sunday morning.

BK forced Woodward's hand by being lazy AF long before the A&M game. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

I think the “insiders” know less about baseball recruiting than they do about football.

really dumb of him to even go on that rant because 1. The kid from northwestern has an arm injury so obviously some teams aren’t going to throw large sums of NIL money there for the uncertainty unless they are just foolish. 2. Saying you have no shot when the player was actually on campus with Jay is just doing your audience a disservice. If the kid had a Do not contact portal tag or just canceled his visit yeah you can make that comment, but as long as someone is visiting you always have a shot. 3. Trying to play off the disadvantages of playing in Omaha when it comes to portal recruiting is just dumb. Besides Texas landing the tech SS what teams in Omaha have landed a star transfer player? The more you win in the postseason the more you’re behind the 8 ball of recruiting the portal.

He has one scouting buddy that works for the Dodgers and almost never gets any of his area guys drafted.

I really want to listen to AFR but I have to turn it off almost daily bc I can’t stand to listen to Moscona. It’s not even his takes that bother me. It’s that he seems so condescending to everyone around him.

This is beyond big. If by some chance they could get the 3B from Gonzaga and the RF from Kent State, things could start rolling.

not to derail the thread, and not that I disagree at all (I thought he had to win that game to keep his job) but he was ultimately fired that morning after, once he said he wouldn't make certain coaching changes that SW demanded.

Back to Bino.

He looks like he has a lot of power potential. He's going to go perfect with Serna and Bide in the lineup.

I hope you're not referencing Andy. I doubt Andy would even give Moscona the time of day, unless he was trolling him.

Nah, not him. I’m blanking on the guys name now, but he was his source for a while.
