Blue Chip Ratio this year vs all CBK years

2022 - Rank: 12th | Blue Chip Ratio: 47%
2023 - Rank: 5th | Blue Chip Ratio: 65%
2024 - Rank: 7th | Blue Chip Ratio: 66%
2025 - Rank: 8th | Blue Chip Ratio: 83%
I absolutley love this class. So much to love at virtually every position group.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why people aren’t going crazy over this class. It is absolutely loaded. It’s like people are so upset about Underwood that they can’t admit we got a damn strong class.

Most are trolls. If you read the SEC rant or OT, they post every day about starting negative threads just to watch idiots melt.

It's because we lost 2 5-stars in the last few weeks, thats it really. If we never had those guys committed and finished with the class we have now just about everyone would say its the best class we've signed in years.
In the end, people just hate and dwell on the bad and not the good thats still left.
Our blue chip ratio this class is #3 in the entire country at 83%. Ahead of Alabama, Ohio St, A&M, Miami and WAY ahead of Texas who has the "#1 class"

The disappointment is what we lost. At one point, we have had Bryce Underwood, Dakorien Moore, and Kade Phillips committed. And favorites for Jakheem Stewart, Kaliq Lockett, Jamie Ffrench. Would have been one of, if not the, highest ranking classes in history.
This class is terrific, but the disappointment you're referring to isn't just about Underwood.

Not as high as you’d think. They’re larger in total #s.
In BCR were 3rd overall. This class is absolutely elite and not finished.

It’s not, that’s our class ranking. We are 2nd (maybe 3rd) in blue chip ratio behind Georgia.

Our blue chip rating is 3rd at 83%. Only Georgia and Oregon are higher.
I think, I could be wrong, the overall rankings only rank the top 18 signees for each team for their overall ranking, so if you sign 3 5 stars, 13 4 stars and 8 3 stars, only the 2 highest rated 3 stars count toward the overall team ranking. Blue chip ratio on the overhand takes the whole class into perspective.

Thanks for the responses. I thought OP was saying we are 7th in ratio which would be nuts.
I’m excited about this class and especially that it seems like the majority of the 4*’s are front 7 and o linemen.

Losing 2 stars in a week seems like the obvious reason
Class is sick, but almost a “what could have been” bc the class is probably our best ever if we had kept the 2 we lost
