This kid looks amazing! Anyone have any scoop on him? Has he been hosted at an LSU game yet? He has been offered by all the big dogs, so hopefully he stays in state and plays for the Tigers!

I hope his game (walker's) against Acadiana will be on yurview. He is going to rip Acadiana a new one Friday night.

Acadiana likely will win but Thomas will go for over 150 and 2 touchdowns like he normally does.

Was chatting w/ the mother of one of his teammates, and unfortunately, she conveyed the same - he’s infatuated w/ Bama and if signing day was today, that’s where he’s headed. I asked if the LSU win mattered and allegedly it did not.

Hopefully, this is a Jamar Chase situation and we win out in the end, but if we don’t, the silver lining is that we can now go get an equal or better talent elsewhere.

Brian Thomas is a tremendous talent. I hope he’s a Tiger . As for ANY local kid ( especially a skill player) who wants to flee the opportunity to be in the LSU Family atmosphere, tremendous coaching and superior system, etc- well, good luck. I wouldn’t really care because It would be clear to me that the kid has bad judgment and/or just would never want to be a Tiger. The kind of guy who if he didn’t play football would spend his whole life in Louisiana sticking Bama stickers all over his F150. There will always be those contrarian guys. I would just shake my head and celebrate the other 4/5 star guys we recruit at the same spot.

I know some of the coaches at walker and one my old coaches who still coaches at walker told me that LSU hasn't shown near as much interest as bama and other schools. Kids now days want who ever shows them the most love so it makes sense.

That is what it seems, but it also seems like every player out of Louisiana that goes to bama become a superstar.

Every player from walker who has played at LSU has won a national title. Lionel Turner and Chris Hawkins. I hope Brian Thomas can be the next.

Well, that only means one thing...

Beat Bama's arse again. Maybe 2 wins will matter.

It only seems that way if you're not paying attention.

How many wr's do we take next year considering we keep all 4 committed this year? I would think 3 and we already have Hilton on board. That leaves 2 spots and maybe Thomas isn't rated as high by the staff.

THIS. You guys thinking one game makes a difference to an individual player is insane. These kids develop relationships over two, three years, if they love one place, one game doesn’t matter.
HOWEVER, beating those assholes, especially where there was no doubt who was better team, was immense.
Relax, this guy won’t make or break anything, LSU is on every Wideout’s radar nationwide.
