CJ Jimcoily - Linebacker, Star, or Safety?

I look at our starting safeties, and I don't feel safe. Ryan's, Burns', and Gilbert's play has been downright frightening.
Behind them are Allen, Ausberry, Jackson, Rogers, and Spears. I'm hopeful that some of them catch fire. But it worries me that none of them have beat our a trio of players that might form the worst unit on LSU's team.
How good are the backup Safeties currently on the roster?
Looking at the 2025 class, we have Thomas and Bradford.
And then there's CJ Jimcoily. On3 evaluates his as a linebacker, but 247 evaluates him as a Safety.
Is he a LB, Star, or is he a Safety?

I’m pumped about Jimcoily at Star. Him and Singleton along with K Jackson I’d love to see there. Jimcoilys a sharp dude apparently which also is a plus.
Your other question is a little tougher to figure out. Was high on Spears and Rogers coming out but minimal impact this season. That’s not the end of the world but was hoping Spears was going to go the path of Delpit and ball out a little as a freshman.
