Until the ink is dry and the commitment is officially finalized, the door remains open. With that in mind, what potential ripple effects could arise from Bryce’s commitment flip?

Top 10, possibly top 5 depending on Stewart and Solomon Thomas decisions.

Appreciate the response.
I was thinking of this more from the lense of now that on paper Bryce isn’t coming, what does that open up outside of what we anticipated? How do we repurpose those NIL dollars?

We'll be in the top 10 minimum with a shot at top 5 depending on who we flip/lose. The class isn't going to completely collapse in 10 days. If it does, Kelly and the entire staff needs to go. If they can't even fall back on recruiting what good are any of them? Wilson included.

Not 100% sure. Based on what they were saying last night, there's thought that some of the $ allocated to trying to get Underwood will go towards the portal and strengthening weaknesses. I think it's safe to say that some will be used to reinforce the class we are trying to get signed here in December. We'll see what happens, but I trust Austin Thomas to handle the assets appropriately to build the roster necessary for LSU to get back to championship level.

The hole in the class night now does not mean a hole in the team next year. Does Nuss come back? Does the staff believe that Nuss will be sufficient? Or does the staff believe that Collins or Hurley will be sufficient? A yes to those questions means that LSU is unlikely to go after a QB in the portal for the 2025 season.

The 2025 class is still loaded with talent, but there will still be plenty of talent gaps on the team.

Solomon Thomas is not coming. He’s firmly committed to FSU. He’s just taking free trips. Don’t blame him either, I would

We can now throw our $6 mil bag at Manning. He's not sitting bench for 3 years.

He'll be starting next year at Texas. His family hates LSU and he is not hurting for cash either. No one at LSU is giving Manning a second thought until they are prepping to play him down the road.
