Numbers don’t look very impressive, but the staff must see something in him.

Intriguing...his numbers at DBU definitely don't pop. He was dominant as a freshman at LSUE, but that's a much different level of competition. Anyone have any insight on the type of pitcher he is? What does he throw? Velocity? How does he project on our current staff?

Did the kid himself make the announcement or did lsubombs just run with the info from this board and then AYS is citing him?

That was the info carrone had dug up for the recruiting thread. I don't have instagram, so I was just wondering if the kid made the announcement or some clout chaser did it before he could.

He raised his fastball from 92 to 98, still a little wild, hopefully JJ can harness some control. Sad thing is we just lost Moffit same guy a little better with SEC experience.

Kinda of a strange take with a 5.33 era

A&M and Tennessee are landing proven commodities and we’re taking a shot on a kid with an ERA near 6 while pitching in CUSA.

Hard to get excited about that.

Median ERA was around 6.

ERA without context of the run environment around college baseball means very little.

Tennessee took Tanner Franklin from Kennesaw State with a higher ERA in a worse league. And a higher walk rate.

But they both throw 98.

If you're going to throw shite out there, be accurate.

Tennessee currently has 1 pitcher. A kid from kennesaw state. A&M has a guy who will get drafted possibly and a catcher.
Nvm all the highly ranked guys we have added. This is a guy who had a good freshman year at lsu Eunice. And the coaches were able to see. We have room for back of the roster players. Yiu take a chance on guys like this.

Was he a starter? If not, it's easier for that stat to be skewed because of IP and situations.

He was not a starter at DBU, but did start 11 games at LSUE as a freshman.

Scrolling through twitter and it looks from 2022 to now he's raised his velo from 89 to 98.

He was listed at 165 at LSUE and 180 at DBU.

He's only 6'0", but I have to think he's heavier than 180 now if he's added that much velo. If not, there may be more in the tank.
