Charles Ross came in 3rd in the 100 his junior year. He got beat by Jelani Watkins and Caden Durham. He was running with a cast on his arm.

I do agree with Burney's 40 time of 4.51. He showed little speed on his highlights.

Are you trying to say a guy at that size is slow? You realize that's fast even for the NFL? Sure, they'd like to see a guy run sub 4.5 in NFL but that's very good and acceptable even at that level. The guy hasn't even hit a college campus yet it's possible he even gets faster. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove there saying that but it's not exactly a negative for him.

Antonio Brown was uncoverable in the NFL and he ran a 4.56. Colston? A 4.51. You know who else ran a slow @ss forty time? Keon Coleman. Dude tore up the NCAA and LSU with his 4.60+ forty time.

Forty times are overrated.

Care to guess Jerry Rice's 40 time? 4.55 to 4.59. He'll never do anything at that speed.

Kevin White who was drafted 7th overall by the Bears and finished with the Saints ran a 4.35. How'd that work out for him? He couldn't catch a cold

lol you are just loud and wrong. Most males get faster from 18 to 21 years old. Espcially if they are college athletes. A 4.51 at 6’3 is impressive and speed isn’t even the most important trait in a WR, it’s route running and the ability to separate

With the expanded roster size you can now take mid level in state kids with good skill sets and develop them for little cost. Trust the Evaluation from the new staff.

4.51 is slow for a HS WR and his height is not going to help him get faster

This is a wildly ignorant comment. Like totally invalidates anything else you said. 4.51 is not slow for any level dude, you can dominate college with a 4.51 if you’re a good player.

From who? I hate when someone says 'I heard' or "whispers going around'. Who are you MFers talking to and why do you need to whisper anything to another man?

Welcome aboard kid. We might see you hauling in balls from Pop in a couple of years. We know the two of you have chemistry

Those stats show improvement that is crazy for an off-season. Those would be impressive for an entire year.

The name is a dead give away, I wouldn't expect anything less than this type of statement from someone who couldn't start in rec ball.

Ultimately one of the premier offensive staffs in college football evaluated him and think he is deserving of an offer. I'm going to default to the fact that they know more about his potential than evaluations from highlight tapes alone.

This literally disqualifies you from discussing HS football recruits. Verified 4.5 40s from over 6 foot HS WRs are way more rare than you think. Hell legit 4.5s from any HS player is way more rare than you think.

So in no world is 4.5 slow ever for any HS player for any position.
