Kim Mulkey Pulling Out All the Stops for Serah Williams!

We definitely need Williams to complete this frontcourt. For those of you who hadn't seen or heard of her visit yesterday and today, here's a video I posted in another thread describing what's going on.....................

We need her like a fish needs water. It’s just too fricking good a fit.
The previous two best power forwards in the portal—Aneesah Morrow and Angel Reese—came to LSU and went from very good to great, shot through the stratosphere, and made themselves a ton of money.
Serah Williams is the natural successor to those two. Surely we can sell her on that. If we can’t land her it will be a massive failure.

I definitely wouldn't call Quita an idiot she provides some of the best WBB content available anywhere, and it's not even her real day job. She just loves the sport, and has built a strong community around her channel. If you are an actual WBB basketball fan and searched for LSU WBB on YouTube during the season Quita is usually pretty high on the list for having a story and she love's LSU.

Yeah, Quita is also a Chicago native, so that means she is also a Chicago Sky fan and covers Angel Reese (and now Hailey Van Lith) and also was a huge fan of Depaul’s Aneesah Morrow.

Maybe she's not an idiot, but doesn't come prepared to talk about anything coherently. I heard a lot of hmmmming and hawing with a lot of down time thinking about what to say next. I'm happy that she's a big LSU fan and perhaps with practice she'll get better, but right now....nahhh. She doesn't have it.

A lot of talking, 30 min worth, but doesn't get to the point of subject which is less than 5 min. I like her, seems personable, but she needs to clean up/shorten her videos. 5 min impactful minutes to the point vs 30 min too much nonsense talking. She could be better. She does like Angel and Chicago Sky, and she likes LSU.

I have no doubt that if I tried to put out a video like this I would be just as bad, and the criticism would be justified. Hopefully she'll keep doing this, learning and getting better. I was just hoping to hear some substance and just gave up after hearing a lot of nothing for 15 minutes.

Understand the context of the video. It was a live breaking news feed for her audience on a Good Friday morning at that . She was answering questions about Gary Reedus and Joe Schwartz from the comments section during the video and threw in some Uconn content as well. It was not a planned direct or informational video. She has those also and are very much so more focused.

Wow, some of you really went off on a tangent. The bottom line, did you actually listen to the first ten minutes where she's talking about Redus and the on campus visit with Serah Williams, and then the follow up with Mikaylah? Jesus!

Yes I did, and it took her 10 minutes of saying nothing to get out 1 minute of content. As I said, there was a lot of umm, uhhh, and repeating the same sentences, to finally say Mikayla sent out a tweet. I just couldn't take it any more .

In this day and age, players like this really don’t care who they play for as long as it’s a nationally prominent team. She will go to the highest bidder. That is what college sports has devolved in to. Sad.
