I’m not sure they have enough $$$ for her now. Unless she can raise more funds somehow.

I doubt Fulwiley would ever entertain us. I’m sure Dawn probably brainwashes all of her players to hate Mulkey

Apparently Fulwiley reached out to us upon entering. The mutual interest is legit, I think we will get a visit soon. (Should hear about it sometime early next week) If we get her on campus I’d love our chances.

Also pretty decent chance Serah commits by the end of the weekend and foregoes the Uconn visit according to some sources

Coach Yo has been good recently with the transfer portal, she relies heavily on transfer portal. But she has not been good recruiting top players from high school (only 4 recruits in 5 years).

Class 2025: 1 ranked #90
Class 2024: 0
Class 2023: 2 ranked #88 and #99
Class 2022: 0
Class 2021: 1 but not ranked top 150

She’s got a good portal class coming in but she has to replace her top two players from last year, Denes and Scott-Williams

There was some concern about her shoe deal (Under Armour), but hopefully that won't stand in the way of her being interested. It's crazy how much shite coaches have to deal with now in recruiting.

Shoe deals not a problem. Hailey had Adidas/Reebok. Flaujae has Puma. Angel had Reebok. LSU has Nike. Not a problem, they just can't wear them during games. Flaujae is marketing, advertising her Puma shoes/Footlocker campaign nationally right now.

That's a good point VT, hopefully UA not trying to steer her in any way to one of its schools.

Yeah, I've already read multiple commenters saying Fulwiley can't play PG and LSU would be starting 3 SG's and it'd be another HVL situation.

Iirc, Fulwiley was the 2nd or 3rd ranked all-american PG in the Class of 2023, first of all. Secondly, I'm hard-pressed to name any guard in all of wbb with a better handle than Fulwiley. (Maybe Hidalgo?) Fulwiley's dribbling in & out of traffic are Kyrie-esque. Thirdly, her passing skills are at times Rondo-esque.

Now, her electric speed has gotten her too deep in the paint & caused some reckless TO's with late errant passes, but there's no question she can play PG.

If anything the concern would be her shooting. In terms of attacking she's basically like Gilbert but the crazy moves actually work.

I'm not so sure about that.

Yes, she definitely has the physical tools to play the position. However, does she have the MINDSET to do it? She literally has two first team all SEC players who average almost 20 ppg in the starting lineup. Can she defer to them and learn to be a playmaker / distributor, who can also score when needed? THAT, is the question.

However, I seriously doubt she'll end up at LSU.

The most important transfer we can get right now is SERAH WILLIAMS, period!

I get the concerns about Fulwiley's mindset, but I think people are underestimating her ability to adjust and grow. She’s still so young, and already showing flashes of elite-level creativity, vision, and control. Her handle is next level—probably the best in the country outside of Hidalgo—and she can create off the dribble in a way few guards can. That kind of skill set screams point guard potential.

As for the “3 SGs” argument, basketball is evolving. Positionless play is the new wave, and a dynamic guard like Fulwiley running the offense with scoring threats like Mikaylah and Flau’jae around her could be a nightmare for opposing defenses. The key isn’t just whether she can defer—it’s whether she can create advantages and read the floor. And from what we’ve seen, she absolutely can. Yes, she’ll have to mature and tighten up her decision-making, but let’s not act like that isn’t part of the growth curve for every young PG.

If she does end up at LSU, I think she could thrive. And with the right coaching and structure, she has the ceiling to become the floor general everyone’s overlooking right now.
