I wonder if LSU has a strong interest in Harpring being as they just signed a couple of guards in the class of 25?
I know she’s visited LSU and I recently seen where’s she’s moved up to # 2 player nationally.

We aren’t recruiting her anymore. Done with 2025 HS class, any future additions will come through portal this spring

Only mentioned it because that's the second article mentioning this. Iam happy with the recruits we got. I don't know the girl but she doesn't seem like she would gel with our roster.

ha! that’s honest.
i still remain baffled at maryam dauda’s transfer choice to south carolina. she went from a starter averaging 28 minutes a game to 6 minutes a game this season. she barely comes off the bench. maybe she will get a little more time with watkins out, but it will be interesting to see if she sticks around for her senior season.

Once the season ends and the portal opens up again , landing a true big will be priority number one .

S'Myah Smith doesn't appear to be developing as an offensive threat. She can be a decent rim protector, just need to be more disciplined on defense. She's 6'5" and I'm still holding out hope she will continue to get better. She was pretty good when Angel was missing last season for two weeks. Maybe the injury is still holding her back. But we do need a better big down low.

Smith is listed at 6’2 , either way she’s shown flashes in the past .
ADR seems to be regressing and Jersey so far has shown nothing .

I would agree, but that's only if there are any quality big post players available. Remember last offseason there weren't a whole lot of them out there................................

There were bigs in the portal to get but LSU waited way too late. They were overly selective at first and by the time they tried to press for a couple of the ones I mentioned below it was late. They will be aggressive very early next year in the portal.
Gaston, Faye, Muhammad, Dauda, spearman, Oldcare, Key, etc all were forwards out the portal. Adding just one would have been big for us tbh.
We knew Jersey was gonna take time and need development. She hasn’t played in over a year and never played post before. So her ups and downs are expected. SaMyah still finding her way back is probably what LSU was hoping wouldn’t happen but ACL injuries can take a bit to fully get back into swing of things
I personally think Knox is good enough to start next year. Add a couple bigs from the portal to go with Knox, Jersey and SaMyah we will be fine imo
