Below are the top 2026 recruiting classes in the SEC to date, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings:

1. LSU — 94.237

Top Commit: WR Tristen Keys, No. 3 NATL. (No. 1 WR)
National Class Ranking: No. 1

Along with Keys, who chose the Tigers in March, they have locked up two major commitments in five-star defensive lineman Richard Anderson, Aiden Hall — the nation’s No. 5 safety — and wide receiver Jabari Mack, another top-100 prospect. Of LSU’s nine commits, seven hail from the state of Louisiana.

2. Texas A&M — 92.352

Mike Elko and Co. have wasted no time early in this cycle grabbing targets, and that spans both sides of the ball. Gregory is one of the country’s best playmaking wideouts, but the Aggies also have No. 6 running back Jonathan Hatton Jr., top-100 corner Victor Singleton — who flipped from Illinois this month — four-star EDGE Jordan Carter, blue-chip quarterback Helaman Casuga and touted WR Madden Williams in the fold, among others.

Despite only five total pledges, the Crimson Tide have the highest average rating per commit of any program in the country. Edmonds, who committed in late March over dozens of other programs, leads a group that features four blue-chip commits, including cornerback Zyan Gibson, a top-100 recruit and the No. 11 CB in the nation.

4. Tennessee — 91.000

The Vols got their quarterback of the future locked in early with Brandon, who chose Tennessee over dozens of other offers back in August 2024. He will be the centerpiece of their class, which also currently includes four-star wideout Tyreek King, four-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda, and four-star tight end Carson Sneed.

Texas is yet to flesh out its 2026 class, but it landed its biggest commitment of the cycle last summer via Bell, the son of former NBA guard Raja Bell. The elite signal-caller is flanked by three in-state commits in four-star WR Chris Stewart, four-star OT Max Wright and three-star IOL Nicolas Robertson. The Longhorns remained positioned well to make a big splash or two this summer.

Hugh Freeze and the Tigers did a majority of work this cycle last summer, as four of the seven commits joined the fold last July or August. That included Harris and four-star linebackers Shadarius Toodle and JaMichael Garrett. This January brought two huge receiver commitments via four-star WR Devin Carter — the No. 20 overall WR — and four-star WR Denairius Gray.

7. South Carolina — 89.317

Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks have landed just one commitment so far this year via four-star IOL Zyon Guiles, the No. 6 IOL in the cycle. He and Currence sit atop a class that’s still looking to make big moves with top recruits that are set to head to Columbia this summer. Four-star TE Jamel Howse is another top commit, checking in as the No. 15 TE overall.

8. Oklahoma — 88.978

O’Neal remains the class headliner in Norman, despite other programs continuing to push for his pledge. He and three-star TE Ryder Mix each committed last June. California four-star WR Daniel Odom is in the fold as a top-300 prospect, while three-star IOL Will Conroy rounds things out. Brent Venables and Co. are in the hunt for myriad blue-chippers heading into the summer.

9. Georgia — 88.924

Spafford is currently the lone top-100 recruit committed to UGA thus far, but Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are thoroughly in the mix for multiple five-stars heading into the heat of the cycle. Four-star safety Zech Fort, the No. 10 safety in the nation, announced on Tuesday that he’s shut down his recruitment. Four-star tight end Lincoln Keyes is in the fold as a top-15 player at his position, too.

10. Mississippi State — 88.183

It’s been a quiet spring for Jeff Lebby and the Bulldogs, but they’ve still acquired seven pledges to date and are in position to push for a top-25 class. Tucker’s stock continues to rise as a top-10 recruit in Mississippi. He’s one of four in-state commits for MSU to date, alongside three-star CB Iverson McCoy, three-star ATH Jaiden Taylor and three-star RB Jaeden Hill.
