Can't wait to see the back of his jersey while he's chasing our WRs from behind

Man. I get he has been shite on a lot by the Tiger faithful but if he goes there he will have lost everyone.

You will see the back of his jersey on the sidelines. He won't start at Ole Miss and he's probably fine with that. He doesn't like anything physical.

He belongs at aTm as a catcher. Def not a pitcher

Please refrain from posting facts on this board at this time. During portal season, this board is strictly for the uneducated to have irrational meltdowns

I think wherever he ends up, if he gets to play safety, he's going to look significantly better than he did here at LSU. We just need better at the position than what he's shown to be capable of.

You may be correct. I know a lot of folks here think he sucks. While he may not have lived up to his billing, he hasn't been as bad as suggested by ranters. Many of the "blown coverages" he is blamed for were simply him trying to get over to cover a player another LSU player (usually the CB) was supposed to have. But all they see is Sage coming into the picture late and thinking "he screwed up again".

This is a man who knows his market value and isn't afraid to go out and collect on it.

Kiffin, Golding and the Ole Miss boosters are gonna be so outmatched in the deal making process, it's not even funny

The rabbit truly has the gun here, and he's about to land himself one hell of a carrot. Congrats to him in advance, and well deserved.

He objectively can’t tackle, takes bad pursuit angles, and gets beat deep fairly regularly. You wanna sit there and tell me it is “fact” that Sage was better than Whit the year?

He's been given 4 full years of opportunity at every position in the D backfield with LSU. If he balls out, somebody needs to pull his helmet off and check for Sage under there

Pu$$y,,,good he can't tackle or cover.

I don’t understand why we have to have personal attacks like this on some of our players. I completely understand critiquing his level of play. I understand being happy he is moving on. Honestly I am also. But by all accounts, Sage has always been a good teammate, and done everything the coaches have asked him to do. He was never in any kind of trouble publicly to embarrass himself or the university. I’m sure he is probably a great kid. No need to shite on him personally.

Yeah, according to PFF right? If so, that is the same "rating system" that put him with a higher grade than Whit Weeks. Sage Ryan was NOT the 3rd highest rated defender in my book which is the only one that I care about. If I had to rate the LSU defensive starters, I would put him about the 9th or 10th best. I would put Major Burns behind him and maybe 1 other, that is it. Anyone who thinks Sage Ryan was one of LSU's best defensive players needs to take up analyzing curling....football is above their pay grade.

Good. Middle of the field will be wide open against Ole Piss next year.
