Shea Dixon leaving 247

I was shocked to see this earlier on 247. Got to think that kills inside info for that site. I know Sonny has great contacts but it won’t be the same.

Wherever Shea goes, I’m signing up for. He was the only reason I stayed at 247. I love Sonny but with Billy and now Shea leaving, this sucks. I’m already a member at On3.

Holy shite. Glenn West was a good hire but that place won’t be the same without Shea. Billy was a huge loss already

Heard he is going back to his roots and taking a job at Sports Illustrated for Kids.

Shea and Billy are the most knowledgeable guys covering LSU. If On3 is going to have both, that’s a big power play for them in this neck of the woods.

Damn guess I’m canceling 247. Guess I’ll go back to rivals or see what Scarbrough’s doing these days

With NIL their predictions and inside information will be much less accurate until the very end of the recruiting cycle. Players will be jumping, de-comitting, leaving their state, etc right up until signing day more than ever. Last-minute NIL deals with stealing players away from their commitments will become the norm. So crystal balls and all of that will become virtually useless.

Shea has been horrible with his picks the last 2 years or more. Might not be his fault, but he was as accurate as some of the "insiders" on here and the coaching changes board.
