Didn't realize the oncoming class is this talented. There is hope for 2025!

This class and next yr's class is helping keep CBT employed, she can recruit, it's just development that has not been so good in some cases

This Addison Fisher girl, committed to UCLA, can pitch. She looks to be the next great college pitcher. She throws hard and looks to have all the pitches from the rise ball to the change up.

Watch replay on ESPN while at my office working a bit.

Heavener did bat. Struck out.... did not pitch. Is she hurt? I read somewhere she has not pitched all summer.

Jones struck out and flew out to SS. She looks talented. I believe she will play a lot.

Galvez made an error in RF in first inning that led to West run. She struck out looking to end game. She did ground out and walk also. She ended up scoring East run. She is fast.... slapper

Harris struck out I believe in her only bat.

It was just one game. I did see quite a few players I would have traded for the ones we got but like I said one game.

We have talented classes every year. Problem is most of the hitters don’t get the development they need once they get to campus.

Don't worry, they'll all be mediocre in the SEC by their sophomore years. LSU doesn't develop talent.

She gets hit a lot. She is not a strikeout pitcher. It’s really hard to tell in one inning or two. her team was knocked out early and she was pitching.

Heavener has mild tendinitis in her shoulder. She is resting it so it can heal. She hasn’t pitched since Gainesville because she pitched so much in high school and that’s what caused the tendinitis. She will be ready to go for us. You can’t tell anything in these games. One strike out because of one at bat on multiple girls. There were 26 total strikeouts that game. You can’t go off of that. It’s exhibition only. There’s no way you can say I would rather have One girl over another, just by that. If that were the case, Fishers team wouldn’t have been knocked out early because she got hit with no bat support. Heavener played against Oxley in the Florida Statr Championship game. Heavener struck out the first at bat but then put Oxley in the trees for a two run shot during her second at bat. That was the game decider. These one at bat games mean nothing. Guaranteed the girls that we got are the real deal.

Then hire some assistants who can help develop these girls. The HC is not responsible for every single detail. Shoot if she can get the talent here then get the coaches here to help her get that talent playing at a super high level. It’s not that hard.

She’s a darn good coach, she may need some help but she’s a darn good coach. I think we lucky to have her. Maybe she just needs some good support and hasn’t had the right coaches to help her get there. That’s an easy fix IMO. The hard part is getting the elite talent to come to your school and she can obviously do that.

Its just a matter of time before she gets the right mix of coaches in here and then they can start dominating. She’s just missing a few pieces every year it seems like. I’d give her another 3-5 years and see if she can get it done, if not then yes it’s time to go in another direction. It’s not like she’s done a terrible job. Some key injures at bad times also hurt her at times. I think she will put it altogether within the next 3 years. It would be nice to see it happen. I’m pulling for her. She’s a good person and coach imo.

Was Dobson good when they went to 4 WS? I’m not saying he is or isn’t but it’s inconsistent to say he is awful or can’t coach when he is the same coach that went to 4 WS. Btw, according to the 2 transfers that had public interviews Neal will take over hitting this year. Let’s see if he can replicate what he did at Louisville

Alix Franklin of St. Amant will have an impact somewhere in lineup.
