He just entered the portal made all ACC freshmen team and had a productive freshman year. LSU needs to take a hard look at him

Per On3, Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas are in the mix here. Texas has already landed 4 portal DTs, but it's not stopping them from pursuing Watson. Would love for LSU to get in the running here.

His PFF grade last season was just above Ahmad Breaux. Both were true freshmen.

Different conferences bro… different competition. Breaux had a great freshman year imo.

Different conferences yes, but still very good competition to grade out that high. Take him and another “veteran” for rotational purposes. Get them while you can. Unless they feel that good about the depth we currently have. IMO you can never have enough depth on the lines.

Still waiting on that mythical S that was on a playoff roster and very good according to Moscana that wanted to go to LSU. Seems he delayed his papers a few months.

Pretty sure PFF grade takes that into effect. It considers everything and tells you how good the player actually is.

I laughed at the guy who said we can’t compete with the likes of Texas, Georgia, and Ohio State. That means I disagree with him strongly.
