He was a 2022 Bama commit from Acadiana. Went JUCO and disappeared. Good warning for local guys looking to leave home.

He didn’t qualify for Alabama so he went to junior college and now plays at Ohio U. He didn’t even have an LSU offer. I fail to see how this thread makes the slightest bit of sense.

It was a question a-hole. I googled him and nothing came up but a USF offer last year. Thanks for the info.

I fail to understand how a kid that was never pursued by the flagship instate program and wasn't smart enough, or responsible enough, to pass remedial HS classes in order to take advantage of the opportunity, is in anyway a warning to other kids thinking of leaving the state.
Where are the examples of kids that have left the state and been successful? The Landon Collins', Keon Colemans', Ed Reeds', Warrick Dunns. Isn't their success proof that you can succeed as an LA kid that chooses to not attend LSU? Seems we forget those examples while trying to "warn" kids about spurning LSU. Wonder why? Something about narratives maybe? Just a guess.

Reminds me of another DL from Acadiana a few years back: Wilfred Journet. All-State Defensive MVP; committed to Auburn; didn't qualify; never heard about him again.
