Kailyn Gilbert shite the bed with her ball hogging and driving into traffic and getting stuffed against UCLA with Johnson and Williams standing there empty handed. Gilbert likely cost us that game. She came in with a reputation as a locker room cancer. Mulkey knows her team but it wouldn’t bother me if Gilbert doesn’t play another minute in purple and gold. Sheppard would be a lot more useful to the 2026 Tigers than Gilbert so I’m disappointed it was Sheppard that shipped out.

She will never improve until she learns how to pass the ball. I've watched alot basketball and she is the biggest ball hog I've ever seen.

They are quoting an On3 article “predicting” her to LSU. And yeah, it may happen, but this is click bait.
If we get Fulwiley, the starting five will obviously be:
Backcourt (wing): Fulwiley-Johnson-Williams.
Frontcourt: Koval and (I hope!) Serah Williams
Maybe we will have another “three shooting guards” problem but I have to think MF would be a better playmaker than HVL.

Wish Sheppard would cancel the portal and come back to LSU. She would have better year next year. She was good on defense. Very likeable too.
