@ Clemson to open the 2025 season is laughable

I know we will never be able to get out of next years game or the following years home game vs. Clemson but Scott Woodward should take Greg Byrnes advice and just take these tough out of conference games off our schedule.
As we can tell there is absolutely no benefit for SEC teams scheduling tough out of conference games due to how hard the actual in conference play is. Having ANOTHER loseable game on our schedule outside of the 8 league games.
I would not be surprised to see SEC schools start to removing OOC games off their schedule soon.

This would be 6 openers in a row.

So you’re saying don’t schedule Clemson because they’re too tough, so instead let’s just schedule cupcakes in hopes of making the playoffs and possibly play………..Clemson?

Or, and hear me out, we could just go win the game and stop griping.
It’s the first game of the season followed by a string of easier games. We could actually show up and win an opener instead of losing every single time.

backing out now would be a pussy move. We need to man up and win the game.

Remember when we used to win these? Got us the upper hand for 2007. It’s fluid, I get it, but you can’t draw this crap out to just one game at the first of the year. I’d rather lose 1000 times in a row to Clemson or the like than watch a snoozer against ulm that I fly in for with four. Give the fans what they really want - a team that’s not afraid to play anybody starting on day one. We had that for a lot of years. Not so much now

Time for Kelly to earn his fricking money and win one of these openers. No more fricking excuses.

God, another one of these dumb arse threads. What’s the O/U on how many of these are started between now and September? Instead of bitching about it I’d love for the team and coaching staff to embrace the tough game Week 1 and win that bitch. I don’t care to see LSU vs the ULMs of the world.
I want Kelly and this staff to have a better grasp of what type of talent we have before Week 1 instead of figuring it out Week 4. I believe we’ll have a better chance of that with less staff turnover and cohesion going into next year. Win the damn game and build momentum early. Our fans need to stop being bitches about it and constantly complaining

Exactly. Chicken needs to look into sponsorships from Messengill, Summer's Eve & Tampex for tRant. With so many pussies on the board nowadays it would be a win win.

Wouldn't doubt he sits in a corner while a real man goes to "work".

I don't agree or particularly even understand some of y'all. I'd rather lose an opener than tuck our tails between our legs and run to try and get out of a game, because our headcoach can't prepare his team properly. We're the Fighting Tigers and it's time our fans act like it.
LSU@Clemson is a big deal on a national scale. No one gaf if we beat Western Kentucky by 2 touchdowns.

It will almost surely be another 0-1 start to the season. Oh well, it’s already a done deal can’t back out.

How about just win a fricking big game.
How about in year 4 of the 100 million dollar contract it's not laughable to think LSU can beat Clemson
